Eleganza

Private crewed gulet charter in Croatia of the 26.5 meter "Eleganza", with 5 double cabins, including 1 master cabin. The boat normally sleeps 10 guests but it can make another cabin available for 2 more guests if you needed it. Totally refitted in 2010, "Eleganza" is without doubt one of the nicest and most luxurious gulets in Croatia and they have been offering cruises along the Dalmatian Coast for over 5 years, so they have lots of cruising experience. It is also a very good sailer with a hull that is more streamlined than most gulets, so it can reach some pretty impressive speeds under sail (wind permitting, of course). The boat has a crew of 4, comprising skipper, cook, deck-hand and hostess. Cruises can start in Split or Dubrovnik and your itinerary can include Hvar, Vis, Brac, Korcula, Mljet, Sipan and many other possible destinations.

Charter price includes

The crew (specified above), water, electricity, clean bed linen, clean shower and sunbathing towels (changed at least twice a week), a free welcome drink, fuel for 4 hours cruising a day (which is usually more than enough), Wi-Fi Internet connection, personal injury insurance while on the boat, and free use of onboard equipment specified above.

Charter price doesn't include

Harbour fees (see above for estimate of cost, which can be reduced by anchoring outside the ports on some nights), meals & other drinks aboard (specified above), transfers between the airport and boat, National Park entrance fees and tips to the crew.

Advanced Provisioning Allowance (APA) is a percentage of the charter price to be paid in advance to cover your expenses during the cruise, such as meals, drinks, harbour fees, etc. The APA is held on account on your behalf and at the end of the week the total of all your expenses will be deducted and the balance will be refunded to you (it does not include tips to the crew, which need to be paid separately). Not all boats ask for an APA (see above) but ask for meals and all-inclusive drinks to be paid on arrival and harbour fees to be paid locally as you arrive in each port.

The boats' charter season is usually from the beginning of May to the end of October and this is usually divided into 3 price periods, with Low Season usually comprising May & October, Mid Season usually comprising June & September, and High Season usually comprising July & August. Some boats, however, can have as few as 2 different pricing periods and some as many as 4 or even 5, and the dates for these can vary, so if you are confused, which is understandable, please don't hesitate to
